Kennedys is looking for a junior Associate to join the Cyber team in Manchester.  Cyber is a real growth area for the firm, and the ideal candidate would have some experience in this area, or at least an aptitude and willingness to become involved with cyber risks.  Kennedys acts for a wide variety of cyber insurers, providing a 24/7/365 breach response service and advising on the defence of claims arising out of data breaches and cyber incidents. The team also advises corporate entities on mitigation and management of cyber risks and data protection issues.

The successful Associate would deal with fast paced breach response work, crisis management and advising on and defending claims arising out of data breaches.  This position could suit someone with insurance litigation experience that is interested in the rapidly developing cyber market and is looking for their next challenge.

  • 2-4* years’ PQE with experience of working with insurers
  • Candidate must be able to adapt quickly and work in a flexible and fast-paced environment 
  • Previous experience in dealing with cyber risks, data protection issues and regulators is desirable.
