Excellent opportunity for a Due Diligence Officer to join a UK Top-100 commercial law firm.

Our client is looking for a Due Diligence Officer to join their Risk and Best practice department in Bristol.

The role will involve supporting and enhancing their current resource in this area, and providing an efficient, pro-active service of the highest quality to the firm's management and fee earners, to enable the business to deliver a first-rate, service to its clients. Duties will include: undertaking client and 3rd party due diligence including obtaining online reports and performing sanction checks, liaising with fee earners and Finance in relation to CDD and third party payment/invoicing queries and issues, management of the firms internal CAP & BIDs portal, including liaising with internal colleagues in relation to conflict searches, etc.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience of making Customer due diligence (CDD) checks (including online checks) and operating associated procedures. You must be familiar with UK Anti-Money laundering regime, including PoCA offences and reporting obligations. It is essential to have experience of working with (or within) a Risk/Compliance function. Salary is up to £30,000 depending on experience.
