This international PLC is currently looking for a company secretary with a strong financial background to assist them in their Leeds office.
 
As the standalone company secretary, you will be directly reporting to the CEO and working closely alongside the Finance Director.
 
Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing agendas for board meetings and minuting the meetings
  • Preparing end of year accounts
  • Providing governance advice to the board on all relevant matters
  • Providing additional support to the Finance team (the nature of this support with be driven by your financial background and direct experience).
You as the new Company Secretary will ideally have:
  • 5+ years of company secretarial experience
  • Background in finance; perhaps a qualified accountant or financial controller, although this is not essential
  • Confidence in dealing at board level.
