An established Chambers listed law firm is proud to be ranked in the Legal 500 for its array of property work. As a private practice law firm in Oxford, the firm works with local and national companies and individuals dealing with property matters for the commercial property market and rural and agricultural industry.
They have clients in a variety of property sectors including residential development as well as landlord, tenant and property management.
The firm is seeking a recently qualified 2-5 years' PQE commercial and/or agricultural property solicitor to join the department of 20 other fee earners.
Matters will include:  
  • Acquisition and disposals of farms, landed estates
  • Landlord and tenant land registration issues
  • Land use agreements environmental agreements
  • Estate management planning and development (including land option and agreements)
  • Tax(including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, VAT and stamp duty land tax Commercial:
  • Development (including options, promotion and other agreements)
  • Planning and environmental advice
  • Construction, both contentious and non-contentious
  • Negotiation of commercial leases
  • Sale or acquisition of commercial property investments, including Legal management work for commercial property portfolios
  • Property finance transactions, including sale and leaseback
