A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR manager to join a leading regional law firm based in Dudley on a full time, permanent basis. You will join an excellent law firm with a long standing history, priding itself on client service and development. 
 
Operating as a full service law firm across multiple offices throughout the West Midlands, this will be a hands-on role where your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Managing complex employee relations including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
  • Applying HR and business knowledge
  • Advising managers on the terms & conditions of employment and knowledge
  • Developing HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Implementing a learning and development policy
  • Providing first-line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers
  • Working with appropriate parties on a reward strategy
  • Providing advice on recruitment and selection strategies
  • Supporting the recruitment process 
  • Carrying out new starter inductions
  • Managing talent and succession planning
  • Driving alignment between HR strategy and business goals
  • Continuously monitoring and reviewing HR policies and processes and implementing changes where necessary
  • Participating in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
In order to be considered for this HR manager role based in Dudley, you must have at least 5 years' experience working as a HR manager within a law firm, have exceptional organisational and communication skills, proven leadership capabilities, a solid knowledge of HR policies and be a self-motivated individual with an ability to work under pressure. Being educated to CIPD level is not essential however will be an added benefit.
