An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced rewards, benefits and mobility manager to join a well-respected international law firm in their Liverpool city centre office.

The Liverpool based firm is offering a competitive salary banding, flexible working and a fantastic benefits package including private medical insurance, life assurance, season ticket loan, health cash plan, dental insurance, 25 days holidays, critical illness, flexible working and many more.

You will be required to have experience in delivering and managing employee and partner benefits, a strong customer centric approach with the ability to build relationships and influence others and experience in the management of pension and benefit providers and flexible benefit schemes plus knowledge and experience of bonus schemes.

Duties for this rewards, benefits and mobility manager role include:
  • Lead the annual salary review process and bonus planning in the UK, working alongside the Talent Business Partners, providing guidance to the Board
  • Work with the UK Talent Director to have oversight of the international remuneration mechanisms, with a view to aligning partner remuneration and international bonus awards
  • In conjunction with the CSR, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, responsible for the calculation and articulation of the firm's gender pay gap
  • Keep up to date and networks with external suppliers
  • Manage and analyse the annual Talent Budget spend in conjunction with the Talent Management team.
  • Proactively manage the UK employee benefits policies and provide guidance to Talent Business Partners to ensure that the benefits remain competitive and are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage relationships with key advisors, suppliers and providers, leveraging their expertise where appropriate
  • Manage the UK pension scheme to ensure that it operates effectively, is governed and complies with regulatory standards
  • Advise and guide the Talent Advisory team in actively managing complex GIP claims
  • Work closely with the internal comms team, develop an effective multi-channelled communication strategy for employee benefits proposition ensuring clarity for new joiners (through induction) and all employees
  • Seek to align the benefits framework with the wellbeing strategy to enhance engagement with the employee value proposition
  • Manage and develop the online flexible benefits portal, Tailored Benefits, introducing new benefits where appropriate
  • Deliver advice on reward benchmarking data for the UK across the practice and business services (and other offices where appropriate)
  • Develop an informative market knowledge base to advise and guide the firm on reward and benefit developments in the external market
  • Design and implement a global mobility policy internationally to ensure a consistent experience for every partner or employee when they are seconded
  • Oversees the monthly in-house payroll, ensuring that the service is delivered in line with the agreed SLAs, Ensures integrity of the payroll system, data and functionality; ensures system updates and upgrades are made where required.
