A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading legal training provider as a legal apprenticeship trainer. This role is based from home and will require regular travel across Manchester and Liverpool.

The firm has approximately 2000 apprentices across the UK working as paralegals and non-qualified legal staff within law firms.

Your role will be to visit these apprentices at their place of work and progress their ability, knowledge and confidence to ultimately complete their apprenticeship.

As a legal apprentice trainer, you will be required to be a self-starter as you will organise your own diary and have autonomy.

The training provided includes CILEx training and the CLC, but you will not need to be an expert in any given area of law.

The apprentices receive technical training through online resources, one to one mentoring, webinars and self study. You will not give technical legal training, but instead create training plans, mentor, supervise and support them on the softer skills they need to be successful in a law firm and with their studies.

Above all, you will be passionate about helping people achieve.

This role will only suit candidates who have worked in legal private practice, or perhaps a local authority legal department.

You may or may not have a legal qualification yourself, but will be familiar with how it is to work and thrive within a legal environment.

You will have a naturally positive and inspiring personality. Those with experience supervising and mentoring others are encouraged to apply.

You will need to be a driver with your own car and be happy with daily travel across Manchester and Liverpool.

This role is based working from home, however, you will be expected to meet students on a regular basis.
