We are currently working on an excellent opportunity in Derby for an entry level paralegal or a paralegal with either some commercial law or data protection experience to join the fastest growing firm in the UK. Our client has been around since the 1750's and they now operate as a professional legal services firm which has changed the culture of the practice.

The Role

-You will sit in an open plan office alongside the firm's Partners, Fee Earners and other Paralegals
-Your role will be to assist them, across the commercial contracts and/or data protection departments, working on high quality files
-You will be given excellent support by quality solicitors with an open door policy
-Our client does not do bulk work and you will therefore work on good quality matters within strong and developing areas of law
-Business development is encouraged and any contributions you feel you can make to the business will be acknowledged, recognised and often rewarded

The Candidate

-You do not need any particular experience although a good law degree and LPC as well as the passion to work for the firm is essential
Ideally you will have some legal experience within commercial law and/or data protection.
- Those with a genuine interest in these areas of law are encouraged to apply
-Personality is very important to our client and you must fit within their business model and be very client focused
-You must be bright, hard working and a team player


-You will receive excellent on the job training
-Our client has a good track record of developing paralegals through the ranks and offer Training Contracts after 12 months hard work and impressive service
