A highly respected national law firm is currently seeking a Solicitor to join its Commercial and Infrastructure department based in Leeds City Centre. Whilst they have a national presence, and handle work of the highest quality, the firm still has a very friendly and supportive feel to it, you'd certainly be made to feel very welcome as part of their national team, and be part of a practice that you can truly feel proud to be part of.

The firm are growing and they are eager to recruit someone to focus on the work from a range of clients that include local governments, health clients and housing sector clients. Within this role you would regularly find yourself working for local authorities, combined authorities, NHS and Independent Sector health and social care providers, police and fire; and Registered Social Landlords. Furthermore you would be surrounded by lawyers with significant reputations within these sectors.

The role

This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of local authority and health innovation, advising on some award winning projects.
The work is heavily centred around governance, integration across health and local government, procurement, commercial and complex outsourcing contracting work including Projects/PFI/PPP, joint ventures and housing finance.
The role is to focus on instructions from local government, health and housing clients, including local authorities, NHS and independent sector health, police and fire and registered social landlords.
The team are highly experienced giving you a great platform from which to develop.

The candidate
They are ideally looking around the 0-5 years PQE mark but are very open minded and will consider candidates who are more experienced.
Experience of advising local authorities and the NHS or an understanding of how they work is desirable but certainly not essential.
The firm are looking for people who have excellent organisational skills, strong technical skills and have the ability to work within a team.
