Excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join a leading national law firm within their thriving residential conveyancing department.

The role involves running a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including deeds of variation, transfers of equity, lease extension, plot sales and purchases. You will work closely with the team manager in a small team with the support of legal assistants. You will be expected to work unsupervised though support and guidance will be at hand for more complex matters/issues.

Skills/Competencies required:

  • At least 2 years qualified FCILEx or with equivalent experience
  • You should be able to demonstrate experience in managing your own residential conveyancing caseload including purchases, sales, right to buy, leases, re-mortgages, new-build, working with a range of clients including developers and investors
  • Solid technical skills and legal knowledge relating to residential conveyancing
  • Business development skills
