The firm is seeking to hire an Employment Solicitor into their City of London office.
The Employment department is currently very busy and thriving, they deal with an exceptional quality of work for a client base which includes businesses of varying sizes but many well-known names particularly across the Media & Entertainment Industry, the caseload will be broad but will include; contract negotiations, ongoing employment issues, termination of employment of Senior Executives and negotiation of settlements, Employment Tribunal claims, reorganisations of companies and their staff, including TUPE and collective redundancies, team moves and restrictive covenant enforcement and advice.
The role will involve a mix of contentious and non-contentious work and will also include high value psychiatric injury claims arising from bullying or discrimination in the workplace.
The employment team also occasionally supports the firm's corporate and commercial teams on employment aspects of transactional and contract work.
You will find yourself working mainly with Respondent work but may also find yourself dealing with Claimants in the form of Senior Executives. As a team when they act for claimants they are seen as market leaders.
