This well regarded Patent and trademark specialist firm are looking for a client support paralegal for their central London office.

This client support paralegal role involves directly supporting one of the firm’s largest clients and the successful applicant would work closely with the team of attorneys and administrators who handle the client’s extensive patent and designs portfolio.

A genuine passion for client service and able to work self sufficiently is crucial for this role in central London.

Client specific
  • Handling client requests for portfolio management support including generating reports, handling case transfers, data auditing tasks and preparing data for bulk upload to the client’s IP management database (Anaqua);
  • Generating monthly client reports from the client’s IP management database (Anaqua);
  • Coordinating attorney and administrative work within the firm to ensure that it meets the client's expectations and specific SLAs which have been agreed;
  • Accessing and generating reports from Anaqua;
  • Preparing reports of cases to be reviewed by the client’s Patents Committee on a triannual basis, providing administrative support for the client during the feed-in process and implementing Patents Committee decisions once issued;
  • Coordinating the implementation of client portfolio review decisions;
  • Liaising with third party patent firms in relation to the client’s portfolio;
  • Implementing internal process updates in response to client requests;
  • Performing regular audits of the renewal providers portfolio;
  • Providing internal training on new procedures implemented by the client;
  • Monitoring the status of applications filed by client’s competitors, updating the client’s records and reporting changes to the client. 
  • A key role in liaising with IT on systems and procedures
  • Producing reports is a key part of this role
  • Finance related tasks including invoice status tracking and reporting.
