CORPORATE AND VENTURE CAPITAL PARTNER – Central London

Ref: 13646

Look forward to coming into work every day?  Feel supported and valued by your firm’s leadership?

If the answer is no, and your current home has started to lose its shine, please get in touch to learn more about this corporate and venture capital partner vacancy at a truly collegial firm with a positive working culture.

The firm’s amenable culture is fostered by its relaxed, accommodating senior management.  Whilst championing innovation, entrepreneurialism and high achievement, the senior partners are equally keen to maintain a healthy working environment where the fee earners support one another and get along.

Switching to this highly regarded private practice will also provide you with a great platform to further develop your corporate and venture capital practice for the following reasons:

* Very good track record for onboarding and integrating new partners

* Visionary leadership with sound strategy

* Strong focus on transactional corporate

* Particular emphasis on emerging companies, including advising founders, angel investors and VC firms

* Track record advising startups and SMEs (as well as larger companies) in buoyant and fast moving markets like technology and life sciences

This firm would be a particularly good fit for a partner looking to move away from a large international law firm in favour of a smaller set up that permits for greater flexibility, swifter decision-making, the chance to make more of an impact, and closer working relationships with colleagues throughout the firm.  As well as welcoming partners from UK Top 20 and international firms, seeking a change of environment, the firm has also been a good home for partners from successful niche firms where the firm’s strategy or platform is no longer the best match.

If your client base does include technology, financial services and/or life sciences businesses, amongst others, then this would be a particularly good match, as the firm’s typical clients include IT companies servicing the telecoms sector, financial services outsourcing businesses, software companies, and emerging life sciences businesses.  The firm is accustomed to providing a full suite of legal services to clients of this type, from capital fundraising and M&A to commercial contracts, IP and data privacy.
