You will have a minimum of 3 years' PQE and have gained experience within the corporate sector at a comparable Top 40 national practice or at a niche boutique firm. You will have had exposure to corporate finance (both domestic and cross-jurisdictional) and any experience of dealing with private equity and/or joint ventures would be advantageous although not an essential requirement.
Exceptional technical skills and first rate communication abilities are a pre-requisite for the role and it goes without saying that you will have strong academics.
This role really will take your career to the next level as you will be exposed to a significant array of work to include public takeovers, both recommended and contested; flotations/initial public offerings; secondary issues including rights issues, placings and open offers; private placements; corporate governance; compliance with companies, securities and financial services legislation including the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority and the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
