JOB TITLE: Residential Development Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: 4 years+ PQE

LOCATION: Leeds

SALARY: Competitive

OVERVIEW:

Substantial legal firm in the heart of Leeds seeks to recruit a senior residential development lawyer to complement its existing busy team. With a number of years experience of development work, the successful applicant will contribute to the growth of this key area of our client's business, dealing with matters which incorporate a broad range of residential development work for house builders, landowners and registered providers, including site acquisitions and disposals, funding documentation and infrastructure agreements. The appointed Residential Development Solicitor will be expected to take a lead role on residential development and related matters, providing clients with practical, commercial and expert advice and guidance, together with support, coaching and mentoring of other colleagues within the team. As an experienced Solicitor, you will be actively involved in the business development and general growth of the department.. If you are looking for a challenging role where you will be required to expand and grow the Construction services and build a specialist team, this could be for you! Excellent salary and benefits are on offer.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are welcomed from Residential Development Solicitor with at least 4 years experience managing their own caseload of matters gained within a leading City or National law firm. In order to be considered for this role the successful Residential Development Solicitor must have proven technical expertise in all areas of real estate matters and be able to assist other members of the team on development issues which may arise. We are keen to hear in particular from anyone who currently works in residential development, although we would also welcome applications from candidates working within commercial property and/or development who are looking to specialise in this dynamic sector. Although knowledge and/or experience of the house building sector is preferred, you should have proven experience of commercial property and/or development work, with strong technical expertise and up-to-date knowledge of the property sector.
