A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well-established law firm with offices across Yorkshire. There is flexibility to be based from North, West or South Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join the successful and growing ecclesiastical and charities practice with a presence across all offices.

This leading Legal 500 firm has a long-established client base, which has grown significantly over the last few years. The firm is looking for an ambitious candidate to play a leading role in raising the profile of the practice and advancing the team’s reputation for providing quality advice and great client experience.

An experienced charities lawyer is preferred but experienced solicitors with knowledge of the charities/not-for-profit sector and transferrable skills will be considered.

The firm act for clients of various sizes from across the sector and the work they do for them is varied, interesting and intellectually challenging.

The role will cover all aspects of charity work, including the formation and registration of new charities, incorporations, mergers, governance, constitutional amendments, trading and fundraising, dealing with the Charity Commission and other regulators and advising social enterprises.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking for a new challenge as part of a dynamic team in a friendly and informal working environment. Applicants should have the confidence to provide complex advice at a senior level, be self-motivated, manage their workload and meet deadlines.

An excellent eye for detail and concern for quality is essential. The right applicant should also be willing to contribute to advancing the team’s reputation and profile through business development and networking.
