This opportunity in a leading Legal 500 international law firm should not go missed. Our client are keen to recruit a Solicitor to join their Social Housing and Regulation team. This is a really robust area of law that stands he test of changing economic situations, clients are much more commercial than ever before and there is a lot of opportunity for Law firms to help and influence them. The team have seen consistent growth, and have seen a real increase in work over the past year with 2015/16 being their busiest year yet.

You will be joining one of the leading firms based in Leeds that have both a national and international presence. They pride themselves on client relationships and the quality of their work and are genuinely a firm that you could feel proud to be part of and really develop your career within.
The role:
Acting for funders in respect of housing and accommodation based projects including large-scale housing transfers within the private sector
This requires a broad skills set ranging from commercial through to finance related involvement, as well as needing to understand and advise on the regulatory matters that come into play. The team are happy to offer training for someone with an interest in this sector and complementary experience even if it isn't head on experience
The candidate:
The firm are looking at a wide range of PQE years, however candidates that have between 2-10 years are strongly encouraged to apply
Our client are particularly interested in hearing from junior partners who are entrepreneurial and who are looking for the right role to reach their full potential and senior lawyers who are looking to move to the next level
AS well as those with direct experience in Social Housing they would happily consider those with experience in areas such as property, development and regeneration and regulation and governance within the social or public sector
