Reporting to:                     Head of Agriculture and Estates/City and Country Homes

Team:                                   Team of 5

Terms/Hours:                    Full time.  Monday to Friday 9.00-5.30pm

Salary and Benefits:       (Competitive) - Depending on experience

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a Legal 500 firm based in Banbury. We are looking to recruit, as part of our plans for organic growth and succession, a 3 years plus PQE Agricultural/ Bespoke Residential Property Solicitor.  Applications are invited from Commercial Property Solicitors with an interest in rural property, who would be willing to re-train.

Main Responsibilities

  • As future successor to Head of Department, you will take on and look to expand a caseload of quality property work with an agricultural bias;
  • Act for private individual and privately owned commercial operations;
  • Continue to build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts through marketing and networking;
  • Mentor and develop the team;

Person Specification

About the team

Our Agriculture and Estates team consists of five staff based in Banbury, and they help and advise on the many aspects of law affecting either farmers or non-farmers owning rural property.  We offer our clients a highly personal and customised service, with particular experience in high-end residential conveyancing, agriculture and property development.  Our clients range from private individuals to privately owned commercial operations and we are proud to consistently achieve an extremely high level of client satisfaction.
