JOB TITLE: Child Care Lawyer

PQE REQUIRED: 5+ years

LOCATION: Leicestershire (commutable from: Leicester, Coalville, Loughborough, Burton-on-Trent and Hinkley)

SALARY: £Dependent on Experience

THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with the dedicated care team of this busy Leicestershire firm. You will take responsibility for the busy caseload of an experienced Lawyer during a period of maternity leave. The caseload comprises a wide range of child care matters including care proceedings, emergency care orders, adoption and placement order. You will also attend and facilitate pre-proceedings meetings and case conferences. This maternity cover role will start in December and will run for between 6 and 12 months.

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be a qualified Solicitor with in excess of 2 years experience of handling Child Care matters. Prior exposure to all aspects of child care law is essential, as is a proven ability to take an adaptable approach to your caseload. As you will be in touch with clients during a difficult time a professional and friendly approach to all client interactions is essential.
