A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident Residential Conveyancer to join a traditional practice in their South Shields office. You could be a Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or non-qualified fee earner so long as you can hit the ground running with your own caseload covering a broad spectrum of Residential Conveyancing matters. The key element to this role is that you are confident managing sales and purchases, leasehold and freehold and staircasing matters independently.

Our client has been established for more than a hundred years in the local area but have moved with the times whilst maintaining a traditional approach to their work. With a focus on expansion, in relation to their residential conveyancing client base, this is an exciting time to be joining the firm.

The Role:
-Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running with their own Residential Conveyancing caseload covering a broad range of files.
-This will include sale and purchase leasehold and freehold transactions as well as some staircasing and transfers of equity.
-You will be required to manage a traditional caseload from start to completion. This is not however a volume role and rather you will manage approximately 30 completions per month.
-Working in a traditional environment, there will be support from other fee earners in the team.

The Candidate:
-For this role, it is essential that you have considerable experience in Residential Conveyancing work and can run your own caseload.
-It would be ideal if you were also capable of picking up some commercial property work however this is by no means essential and those without Commercial Property experience will still be considered.

Benefits:
-Competitive Salary.
-High quality work.
-Opportunity to combine business development and networking alongside your fee earning role if that would appeal to you.
-Firm has a low turnover and manage domestic conveyancing matters in a traditional approach.
