JOB TITLE: Private Family Solicitor/Legal Executive
PQE REQUIRED: 3+ Years
LOCATION: Warwickshire

THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for the management of own caseload of primarily Legal Aid Private Law matters including children, finance matters, Injunctions and Domestic Violence, with minimum supervision. Managing a caseload of Private law legal aid matters, advocacy and attendance at Court. Monitor your own caseload progression compliance and billing, ensure efficient and accurate applications for and maintenance of Legal Aid Certificates. Assist HOD in the management of the Department, efficient time recording and preparation of bills, maintenance of files and preparation of full attendance notes. Achieve agreed targets and review of key performance indicators. Promote the Department and self within the legal community and with existing and prospective clients and stakeholders. Fulfil the SRA requirements regarding professional development as required in line with the Firms Strategy.

SOLICITOR:
Minimum 3 years PQE within a similar role and it is essential that you have experience working on Legal Aid matters. Good quality experience of running a (preferably Private Law Legal Aid) caseload including, children, Finance matters and Domestic Violence. In addition, injunctions. Experience of growing an area of law would be highly desirable. A friendly flexible and personable approach in the role, with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision. Experience of business development and marketing within a law firm, good use of case management systems and proficient in IT. Experience of requirements of Lexcel and a full UK driving license as travel between offices will be required.
