Childcare Lawyer – Local Government – London
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to join a London based local authority that covers much of East London. This role will run on an ongoing basis which is to be extended every 3-6 months, and can offer between £40 and £50 per hour umbrella.
This role can be worked on a purely remote working basis, therefore location is no object.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience handling childcare law matters within Local Government.
Your duties will including managing a workload of children’s safeguarding matters including undertaking advocacy and providing high quality advice for internal clients if of interest (in house advocates are also available should the successful candidate want to handle case work ONLY)
The client has a passionate vision to be a Legal Service that is recognised nationally as best practice in the public sector, which is one of many reason they are well known for running several initiatives to give back to the childcare sector and local community.
You will be qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with advocacy certificate, able and committed to work to a high standard. We have a track record of helping team members develop their professional expertise in children’s safeguarding and encourage in house advocacy.
