JOB TITLE: Childcare Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 4 years pqe +
LOCATION: Gloucestershire (Commutable from: Worcestershire, Cheltenham and Stroud.)
SALARY: £Dependant on experience

THE ROLE:
As the appointed Childcare Solicitor be responsible for you own caseload of childcare matters including acting on behalf Guardians and the Local Authorities. The successful Childcare Solicitor will be dealing with Care Proceedings along with the occasional parent instruction. A motivating environment where continuous development of skills and performance are encouraged by this Legal 500 and Chambers recommended practice. You will also be required to deal with case preparation and undertake your own advocacy before County and Family Proceedings Court. The Family team at this leading law firm genuinely operate and support flexible working patterns and are also enthusiastic about supporting your own individual career ambitions. The firm have a great reputation and frequently come highly recommended in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Childcare Solicitor will have a minimum of 3 years PQE and will join a team of knowledgeable individuals who have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of childcare law. Due to continued increase of new instructions, the firm are looking for Childcare Solicitors who have proven technical expertise in dealing with care proceedings, preparing cases and undertaking your own advocacy. You will have gained relevant experience within a local authority or a law firm and have a real desire to develop a successful career within this area of law. Excellent team work skills as well as the ability to provide a high standard of client care is essential for this role. A fantastic opportunity to stretch your existing skills within a friendly and dynamic practice.
