Real Estate Paralegal
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced paralegal to join an established, award winning UK law firm based in Birmingham. The firm is seeking a responsible paralegal with the ability to work efficiently and confidently in a team with at least 1 years' experience in corporate real estate.
The candidate must be able to show a desire to exceed client expectations; have a high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a demanding environment; excellent organisational and prioritising skills and the ability to work in a busy team while communicating excellently and enhancing client relationships.
The successful Real Estate Paralegal will be an important member of the team and will assist on specific projects but will also be responsible for running your own case load of estate management transactions. Specific responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating transactional documentation including surrenders, lease renewals and licences; preparing reports; undertaking, reviewing and reporting on search results and title investigation; including preparing SDLT Returns and making applications to Companies House and the Land Registry; liaising with colleagues, lawyers on the other side of the transaction and clients.
