THE ROLE
The firm's specialist construction team provides a comprehensive range of construction law solutions across the wide spectrum of projects undertaken in the construction industry.
Clients include private and public institutions, property owners, developers, funders, contractors, specialist sub-contractors, suppliers and construction/design consultants.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-5pqe level with experience from a firm with an established construction team.
You will mainly have experience of non-contentious construction law as this is the role's main focus but some experience of disputes avoidance and contentious construction law will be useful.
A good working knowledge of the various JCT form contracts, their amendments and market norms is ideal, as is a willingness to advise on bespoke, complex agreements.
Experience of procurement and contracting strategies, funding and financing agreements, contract tendering and frameworks and security documentation including advance payment bonds is essential.
You should also demonstrate the ability to work as a team player and be looking to join a friendly and collegial firm.
