We are working with a client who has an opportunity for a conflicts specialist to join a world-class law firm as their Conflicts Manager.
Working under the direction of a fantastic head of BAU who would be there to support and guide you, you would be responsible for managing a team of junior and senior analysts who deal with a large number of conflicts requests on a daily basis.
This will be a broad role where you will need to have excellent technical conflicts knowledge gained from within an international law firm, be extremely familiar with the SRA Code of Conduct, but also be able to lead and manage a team.
The well-established conflicts team deal with new client matters and implementing information barriers. In addition to handling complex queries, managing escalations, liaising with the in-house counsel, and head of BAU, you would also be required to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, provide training to the team, and complete performance reviews and identify areas of development for team members.
