JOB TITLE:                    Property Litigation Associate

THE ROLE:
This firm’s established real estate litigation team deliver high quality, practical real estate dispute resolution services to clients across the UK. The appointed Property Litigation Associate will be responsible for advising a varied client base, comprised of both public and private sector clients, on a broad range of real estate disputes. The caseload will include, but is not limited to, assisting with statutory lease extension and enfranchisement claims acting for both leaseholders and landlords, negotiating settlements with opposing parties and advising clients accordingly, drafting Court proceedings and assisting with the preparation of trial bundles and assisting with the preparation of cases for hearing. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate actively in marketing initiatives, build and maintain effective client relationships and participate in firm-wide training sessions.

THE CANDIDATE:
In order to qualify and be considered for this Associate level role, applicants must have at least 3 to 5 years’ PQE in Property Litigation. Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors who have a proven track record of handling their own caseload under minimal supervision. The successful Property Litigation Associate must be confident in their ability to work to tight deadlines, have good interpersonal skills, have the drive and enthusiasm to be successful in this role as well as being commercially astute.
