JOB TITLE: Financial Services Disputes Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: 2-5 years PQE

LOCATION: Cardiff

SALARY: £Excellent

THE ROLE:

Our client is offering an exceptional opportunity for Financial Services Disputes Solicitor to join their litigation team. The team acts on behalf of some major, worldwide clients and advise on large scale matters that cross multiple jurisdictions. The appointed Solicitor will assist in advising on a wide variety of litigation matters and regulatory investigations in the financial services sector. The workload will be varied and will include a mix of both smaller litigation matters and more complex, high profile matters. In addition, the appointed Solicitor will work collaboratively with other teams across the office. It is anticipated that the Solicitor will become involved in business development and networking on behalf of the department.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal Financial Services Disputes Solicitor will have excellent academics and have gained between two and five years of post qualification experience at another leading law firm. The Solicitor should have had proven experience working in a commercial litigation department, ideally having worked on some financial services matters. They should have excellent organisation skills and work well under the pressure of a busy and varied workload. It is important to our client that the Financial Services Disputes Solicitor has good commercial awareness and strong technical skills. The appointed Solicitor will act as an integral member of the dispute resolution team you will be able to hit the ground running, provide strategic and commercial legal advice on litigation cases, support the Partners and team, along with supporting and offering guidance to junior lawyers when needed.
