Court of Protection Solicitor.

My Warwickshire based client is currently looking to recruit a Court of Protection specialist, either Solicitor or Legal Executive qualified, as they seek to develop the health and welfare aspect of their Court of Protection work.

The department is well established and comprises of several fee earners of varying levels of experience and qualification, who advise their clients on a range of Court of Protection matters. Historically, the department has focused on the financial side of Court of Protection work, and now see an opportunity to expand the contentious health and welfare application side.

Ideally, they are looking to recruit an experienced Court of Protection lawyer, who may possess experience in both side of Court of Protection work, with a view that they will develop the health and welfare work as they establish themselves, though it is not off-limits to deal solely in contentious work from the outset if workloads support this. Candidates with experience in mental health and community care law with some experience of Court of Protection work would also be considered suitable.

The firm offers a friendly and professional working environment in conjunction with a competitive salary and benefits package.
