Just in - NEW - an exciting PSL/PDL opportunity with this major national heavyweight firm, ideally to be based out of their Bristol offices.
PSL/PDL roles are always fairly rare to see come up in the market and they tend to generate quite a bit of interest amongst candidates who perhaps want to move away from the day to day pressures of fee-earning or just generally want a degree more stability and work flexibility.
Working as part of a very successful team with over 150 other Real Estate lawyers across the firm's various offices this vacancy is vital to the ongoing development of the Real Estate business group as a whole, the firm-wide strategy and client service experience at such an exciting stage of the firm's continuing growth and development including as they prepare for their major US/UK merger which will propel the firm in to the global elite.
The firms Practice Development Lawyer ('PDL') team are experts in delivering support to both the firms clients and their lawyers, including KM awareness, documents and training but also delivery of strategic and commercial insights into legal, market and regulatory developments and trends. They are now looking for another strong addition to the team, a forward thinking individual who can help identify and implement new ways of working and help them embrace the best new technological and innovative solutions to better deliver legal services to clients. This is vital to help ensure the firm remains competitive, relevant and progressive and will have a direct impact on the profitability and future of the business.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a track record of quality Real Estate work, ideally gained from a city, regional or national firm or perhaps from a senior in-house position. Just as importantly you will have a genuine interest in innovation, service delivery, legal technology, and a desire to help identify and embrace change for the better. A genuine inquisitiveness about the firm and the breadth of their Real Estate offering will help you recognise and develop opportunities, and you will also need gravitas and experience to challenge convention and processes and gain influence at all levels.
