OUR CLIENT

We have a new mandate for a corporate lawyer to work in house. This is a newly created opportunity for a corporate lawyer c 5 PQE o join a highly respected in house legal department to handle a high profile role for a market leader in the insurance sector

THE ROLE

The post holder will be expected to work at board level. The successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for the provision of a high quality workload.

This is a high profile and challenging role with a strong focus on corporate / insurance / Part VII matters The post holder will be expected to work alongside the legal department and stakeholders advising on necessary changes and the impact on proposed legislation and changes to the business.

THE CANDIDATE

It is envisaged the successful candidate will have a corporate background gained from a city law firm or similar - preferably with Part VII experience

The role is for a FTC c 12 months and it is envisaged candidates will be able to start swiftly

Candidates must be able to demonstrate first rate technical skills and the confidence to work as a key team member
