Legal Secretary - Commercial Litigation
Our client is a top 100 London law firm, highly rated by the legal directories.
A new role has arisen for a highly motivated commercial litigation legal secretary to work in a collegial team providing secretarial and PA support.
The work is interesting and varied and often involves working on high profile work, as well as assisting the fee earners with compliance with all relevant risk management requirements, including anti-money laundering checks.
You will also be assisting the fee earners with the completion of monthly matter management returns to Accounts (as appropriate) and taking a proactive role in credit control for the fee earners' outstanding bills
To be considered for this role you will have a strong academic background (degree level) and will have worked within a leading national or London law firm as a commercial litigation legal secretary.
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, specifically handling fee earner diary management and travel arrangements.
A good typing speed of 60 wpm is a prerequisite coupled with proof reading and strong organisational and time management skills along with the ability to understand financial ledgers.
You'll have a flexible and committed approach and be able to work under pressure, good organisational and exemplary communication skills (verbal and written).
