My client, a global professional services firm is looking for a Corporate / Commercial Lawyer to join their team for a maternity cover contract.

The role will sit in the London based legal team and advise to all members of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating high-value complex agreements with affiliated and external clients on a global basis
  • Negotiating and drafting a wide variety of complex commercial agreements with a focus on IT agreements
  • Handling a wide range of joint ventures, acquisitions, and contracts with an international aspect
  • Assess risks associated with client matters and advise the business on ad-hoc queries
  • Advise on legal issues and risks across a wide range of issues affecting the business
  • Advise on new business set ups and deal structuring

Candidates of interest will be:

  • Degree educated and qualified lawyer
  • UK Qualified lawyers coming from a private practice or in-house background
  • Depth of commercial and corporate experience, particularly working in-house for a company
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, especially cross-jurisdictional and high-value agreements
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with members of the business
  • Gravitas and ability to work with senior stakeholders including Partners and Senior Counsels
  • Experience working across international jurisdictions
  • English language fluency - additional languages are appreciated
