A market leading European law firm is seeking to appoint an Employment Solicitor on a six month fixed-term contract. Flexible working is offered for the right candidate.

This forward-thinking and dynamic European law firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor to join the team for an initial period of six months. This is to cover maternity leave but the department is busy and as such there is scope for this to be extended and even scope for the role to become permanent. The firm will offer flexible working but it is a full-time position so would require at least three days in the Birmingham office and potentially two from home.

You will be acting for a broad range of respondent clients including international corporates across a wide variety of sectors. Our client would need a candidate to have purely respondent experience to be considered.

You will be expected to hit the ground running managing your own caseload of matters consisting of an even split of contentious and non-contentious work. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with larger more complex matters. This would suit somebody of at least three years’ experience upwards and more junior candidates will not be considered.

You can expect to work closely with two senior partners and you can expect high levels of direct client contact.

Our client is interested in hearing from qualified lawyers from top rated employment departments with a strong academic track record and a desire to and interest in both contentious and non-contentious work.
