My client are at an exciting stage of their growth in their Exeter branch.

Being a long established Devon and Somerset firm they already have an enviable client list.

They are looking at succession planning. You will inherit a full and broad case load of commercial, residential and agricultural property related litigious matters including instructions on landed estates and some aristocratic clients!

For a medium size firm, they punch well above their weight!
You will join this friendly firm as an associate or possibly partner and have the gravitas and credibility to advise high level clients.

Your case load will be broad to include interesting and complex work acting for commercial and private clients. You will advise on commercial landlord and tenant matters, rent recovery, forfeiture, opposed/unopposed lease renewals, dilapidations and rent reviews. Agricultural landlord and tenant, notices to quit, possession, arbitration and breaches of covenant.

This firm are not just looking for a technically excellent lawyer, but also a friendly and personable character!

You will be a robust litigator, but will also have a certain warmth, that perhaps is lacking from from some of Devon's larger firms. This will be your competitive edge, and what differentiates this firm from the rest.

Although likely starting at Associate level, this role will quickly develop into a partnership opportunity. Applications are encouraged from senior candidates with 8-10+ years experience.
