NEW ROLE - Private Client Lawyer - Leading firm - Manchester
An experienced Private Client Lawyer is required for a new role with a top tier commercial firm in Manchester. Competitive salary upwards of £50k.
Our client is a national law firm who are regarded as leaders in their field and they are frequently to be found in the top tier of the various legal directories. Their Private Client department's client base includes entrepreneurs, business executives, landowners and trustees, all of whom benefit from the team's position within a large, commercial law firm. Expertise ranges from personal estate planning through to the management of complex, multi-million-pound estates and trusts. They also provide advice on offshore tax planning structures.
Due to expansion they are looking for an experienced Probate Manager to manage a mixed caseload that includes probate, powers of attorney, trust and wills matters. You will have experience of dealing with a variety of estates, liaising with executors and beneficiaries and dealing with HRMC, as well as preparing estate accounts. Their client base includes a high proportion of high net worth clients with complex financial arrangements and they would expect you to handle straightforward matters under minimal supervision. All members of the team are encouraged to get involved in business development activities and are given many opportunities to build their own reputation in the local market. It is essential that you be part or fully STEP qualified, with a minimum of 5PQE gained in Private Client, with experience of advising high net worth individuals.
