A rare leadership opportunity has arisen within the Singapore office of a market leading international insurance broker.

Our client is looking for someone to assume leadership for their team of Claims Advocates in Asia, working as part of a Global management team, uniting claims advice in the region with responsibility for the design, development and implementation of operational and strategic initiatives that support their efforts for growth, retention and profitability in the jurisdiction.

You will lead the development and operation of the Advocacy group in Asia and resolution of large/complex claims. The role encompasses all lines of business including Property, Casualty, Financial & Professional Risk and Specialty products.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years’ post qualification relevant insurance experience and an in-depth understanding of claims, with particular depth of understanding in property /energy and / or business interruption. Applicants from both private practice and in-house will be considered but a demonstrable track record of success in management is essential. Applicants are expected to have some experience of dealing with insurance claims in Asia but do not necessarily need to be a specialist in the region. The client would welcome the chance to consider candidates both in Singapore and in other regions looking to relocate.
