In-house funds lawyer
We are currently exclusively representing a market leading global private equity firm, looking to add an experienced funds lawyer to their high calibre team.
The firm has long been established and has a highly successful track record across multiple jurisdictions and sectors. Their current portfolio comprises over 20 companies, with funds raised from pension funds and other institutions to make long-term investments.
Reporting in to both legal and the business you will work closely with the IR team across all capital raising initiatives. The work will be wide ranging, advising on the entire life span of funds, from formation to closing, as well as advising on financing matters and more general corporate work. This will include private equity fund formation, fund financing and group matters, working across their business arms. The role will also cover various ongoing fund operational matters including monitoring compliance with fund legal documents as part of transactions.
As a result of the autonomy and breadth you will enjoy in this role, we would welcome applications from lawyers with a background in fund formation, this can be private equity, real estate or credit fund focused. Applicants should have a minimum of four years' post qualification experience gained within a top-tier law firm or similar fund.
The ideal candidate will be a commercial and pro-active team-minded lawyer, possess strong organisation and communication skills, together with the drive and aptitude to manage a broad range of responsibilities.
The client can offer a competitive salary package with excellent bonus potential. This is a rare opportunity to join such a leading brand in the private equity sector and forge a commercially focused legally career working alongside the business.
