My client are a highly reputable Orpington based law practice that have an exciting opportunity for a Matrimonial Fee-Earner (2PQE +) to join their team due to retirement within the firm.
The Family Department deals with a wide variety of matters on a privately funded basis. The work will include; all aspects of divorce, child contact, and residence disputes including separation, cohabitee disputes, resolution of financial property and pension claims. Proactive approach to business development.
The firm in question benefits from an excellent and consistent flow of high quality incoming private work and is keen to expand their family department as it continues on a trajectory of growth and expansion to best serve the high levels of incoming work.
The role of family solicitor will involve handling an entirely privately funded case load with emphasis on divorce and ancillary relief work, and the ideal candidate for this excellent opportunity will have at least two years of post qualification experience handling a private case load. You will be ambitious in your desire to develop a long-term career in family law and keen to positively contribute a high level of technical knowledge to this well established law practice.

The position has the potential to develop rapidly, with a view in time, to take a leading role in the Family department with further progression possible for the right candidate.
