This is a new mandate for a commercial lawyer with an insurance background c 5 + 8 PQE to join an established in house legal department of an international and fast growing business.


To be considered for this business facing opportunity, the successful candidate will be expected to work along side stakeholders and business teams, managing a diverse and interesting workload with a focus on non contentious work. Key aspects of this role will include :-

Provision of commercial, strategic and legal advice on Insurance matters with an emphasis on regulatory, marketing and consumer related issues

Commercial/IT work, outsourcing arrangements, distribution agreements, supplier contacts, technology and e commerce agreements

Risk management, TCF, Financial Services, Data Protection,

Preparation and delivery of in house legal training programme

Managing general day to day legal issues.


To be considered for this varied and challenging in house role, applicants will have relevant commercial experience, and a background in the insurance or regulatory sector would be of particular interest.
