A multi-site well-established law firm with offices in Yorkshire is looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join the firm in their Leeds office.

The role

Being the first point of contact for risk & compliance matters at the firm, liaising with all department heads to ensure robust risk & compliance processes are engrained throughout the firm;
Using your practical experience to make recommendations for systems, policies and procedural changes;
Undertaking an annual risk audit to report findings and make recommendations;
Dealing with complaints from start to finish including having to liaise with the Legal Ombudsman;
Renewing the Firm's and Solicitor's Practicing certificates, trainee registration, diversity data and any other SRA applications.

The Candidate

At least 3 years law firm risk & compliance experience, ideally at manager level
Proven ability to think strategically in the context of risk management with drive, enthusiasm and self-confidence;
Ability to travel to a number of Yorkshire based offices.
