My client are a leading global law firm who boast an impressive Technology Practice.

They currently have an opening in their Bristol office for an IT/IP associate who will be based in Bristol but support the national team.

The ideal candidate will have good academics and would have trained at a leading firm however candidates who have also trained at niche technology firms will also be considered. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of a wide range of technology matters including E-commerce issues, IT agreements, data protection, franchise agreements, distribution agreements, B2C issues, Tech IP etc.

This position offers access to top quality work not only in the UK but also globally as clients include some of the biggest names in the Far East and Silicon Valley. The team are very experienced and supportive and are able to offer autonomy from the outset in order to make this new role a success.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest and passion for technology law as well as very good commercial awareness and business acumen.

Other practice areas which are highly regarded at the firm include banking, retail and insurance.

If you are a technology solicitor with up to 5 years PQE, this could be an excellent position for you to join one of the leading practices for this type of work.
