Due to the continued success within the residential property department, the team have identified the need for an additional Residential Property Lawyer to assist with the busy caseload. The successful Residential Property Lawyer will be responsible for their own caseload of residential property files from initial instruction through to completion. The role will be varied and will include advising on the sales and purchases of residential properties, re-mortgages, transfer of equity, shared ownership and new builds. Playing an integral role in the residential property department the main purpose of the job is to lead a small team of Conveyancers and Paralegals to deliver timely, succinct and accurate legal guidance on a broad range of residential property matters. Team Leaders will advise on more specialist matters and train and develop less experienced members of the department. Manage a full caseload of varying value and complexity, advising on a range of residential property matters including but not limited to: sales and purchases of leasehold and freeholds, registered titles and unregistered titles, re-mortgages, plot purchases, transfers of equity, part-exchange work and shared ownership along with being fully competent in the understanding and application of the duties of Conveyancing Administrator, Paralegal and Conveyancing Executiv. Ideal Residential Property Lawyers will have a strong background in dealing with the whole conveyancing process from start to finish and be looking for a role which allows them plenty of scope to develop and enhance their skills and experience.
