Senior Advocate/Barrister - Flexible Location - Salary to £70k
Chadwick Nott are recruiting for an experienced Advocate/ Barrister for an exceptional new opportunity with a leading National Full Service Law Firm, which can be based in any of their offices located throughout the UK.
Our client is a top 20 UK law firm which has seen consistent growth for well over a decade. The firm operates nationally and offers high quality work from a diverse sector base including technology, retail financial services and insurance.
This role will involve conducting high value and complex hearings across a variety of practice areas, whilst developing the team. Reporting in to the Board of Directors, you will be instrumental in recruiting, training and supervising more junior team members. Business Development is a key aspect of this position, and this will include pitching tenders, and presenting seminars and CPD events.
Your typical day will include conducting hearings, drafting legal documents and dealing with the most complex and specialist work that comes into the team relating to Insurance, Commercial and International matters.
Applications are invited from candidates with outstanding courtroom experience and a strong commercial awareness gained either in Chambers, Private Practice or an in house position.
It is essential that you have experience in complex personal injury and insurance disputes and/or commercial litigation; either domestic or international. You may be a qualified Barrister or a Solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience and you should hold a current practising certificate. Although not essential, a second language would be beneficial, as would management experience.
