NQ-2 Commercial & IP Solicitor
We have recently been instructed by our client, a prestigious national law firm, who are seeking to hire a Commercial Solicitor (NQ-2) join their Commercial & IP team in the East Midlands with the role being based out of both their Leicester and Nottingham offices. The role offers a competitive remuneration package along with excellent progression opportunities.
About the role
The UK-wide Commercial team is highly regarded by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 and is looking to grow it's offering in the East Midlands by adding an NQ who is looking for a solid progression path. Daily work in this role includes working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious commercial law including advising on complex transactions, advising companies and individuals on exploiting and enforcing patents, confidential information and know-how, designs, trade marks and copyright as well as matters involving advertising, privacy law, reputation and defamation.
In addition to a broad and interesting range of work, the Commercial team posses an extremely high quality client base and are seeking to consolidate and develop ties with clients across the UK with a focus on manufacturing, retail, technology and logistics.
About the person
The Commercial Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally a minimum of six months relevant Commercial experience gained at a reputable law firm. Awareness of and a passion for commercial law are necessities, along with excellent interpersonal and self-management skills and the ability to quickly build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. The successful candidate will be expected to have previous experience of negotiating contracts with both suppliers and customers.
It is crucial that the candidate is flexible regarding working hours in order to meet departmental needs when required.
