JOB TITLE: Contentious Private Client Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3 years+ PQE
LOCATION: South Wales (Commutable from: Cardiff, Bristol, Newport, Caerphilly, Bridgend)
Due to our client's continued success, they are seeking to recruit a talented Contentious Private Client Solicitor to add expertise and experience to the team. The appointed Contentious Private Client Solicitor will join a team of highly skilled individuals who are noted experts in areas such as Inheritance Act claims, court of protection disputes and contentious probate disputes. The team has established a well-deserved reputation for being leaders within their field and they currently act for a diverse and vast range of clients from individuals to multi-national corporations. The Contentious Private Client Solicitor will take on their own caseload of varied and complex contentious probate matters from the outset, and will run these files through from the initial stages to conclusion.
The ideal Contentious Private Client Solicitor will have proven experience in a range of private client areas, including wills, trust and estate work. Ideally, they will have specialised in contentious matters. Due to the increased workload that the team has recently experienced, it is important that the Solicitor is able to hit the ground running from the outset and is confident in their ability to handle a heavy case load. Our client values teamwork highly and, therefore, the Solicitor should be keen to become a valued member of the team and be happy to support other team members when necessary. Due to the nature of the work involved, the ideal Contentious Private Client Solicitor will be personable and have clear communication skills, as the relationships they will be expected to build with their clients will be seen as highly important. In addition, The Contentious Private Client Solicitor should be keen to become involved in business development and have a proven record of success in assisting with business development initiatives.
