A new role has arisen with our highly regarded client who is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join their practice in County Durham. The firm are award winning and have really established themselves as market leaders within the Teesside market. It is essential you are a qualified Solicitor, a specialist in the management of Trusts and Probate matters and therefore naturally would be confident running your own Trusts and Probate caseload.


In this role you will join a successful team of specialist private client fee earners who manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters including, Wills, Trusts, Probate and Powers of Attorney just to name a few. Matters also include some very high net worth files.

You will manage a caseload of Trusts and Probate matters.

The department currently consists of three Partners who are highly regarded in the region, two Chartered Legal Executives, two trainee solicitors, a paralegal and a specialist wills drafter. Therefore you will be joining an established team.

The firm has a stand-out client base of loyal clients who return to the firm. It is common for the department to have represented several generations of clients which is something they are particularly proud of.


It is essential you are a qualified Solicitor, however our client is happy to be open minded with the level of PQE they are looking to recruit at. Ideally you will be working towards STEP qualification although this is not essential.

You must be confident in your level of expertise and be looking for a long-term opportunity within a well-established team.

Naturally you will possess a great work ethic and be confident fitting into the existing team.
