Personal Injury Paralegal, York - Expanding, successful law firm requires Personal Injury Paralegal with strong experience in Industrial Disease claims

JOB TITLE: Personal Injury Paralegal

PQE: 12 months + experience


SALARY: To c£23,000 depending on skills and experience


A Personal Injury Paralegal is required to join this forward thinking firm. As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be required to handle a busy and varied caseload of Industrial Disease claims on behalf of defendant clients including asbestosis, deafness, HAVS and dermatitis. The appointed Personal Injury Paralegal will assist senior fee earners on more complex industrial disease cases as well as managing their own caseload of fast track files, including portal work.


The succesful Personal Injury Paralegal will have at least 12 months experience handling Industrial Disease claims, preferably advising defendant clients. A a broad range of knowledge in deafness, asbestosis and other work-place cancers would be a distinct advantage. The Personal Injury Paralegal must have good communication and organisational skills, and be able to work on with minimal supervision.


The Personal Injury Paralegal will join a specialist and dynamic practice with a strong reputation with insurance clients both across Yorkshire and nationally You will play a key role in the ongoing success of the industrial disease team and, in return, can expect support from the management team in your personal and career development.
