Fantastic new instruction has just come to the market. This international law firm are looking for a Financial Services Regulation lawyer to help the Financial Regulation Group to win new clients, develop its relationships with core clients and raise its external profile more generally.

The successful candidate will be a mid or senior level Financial Regulation lawyer and could either currently be a PSL or a fee-earner seeking a change.

A mix of contentious and non-contentious experience would be desirable as both elements will be involved in this role.

You will be advising on the development and implementation of new regulation and legislation at both UK (FCA and PRA) and EU levels. The successful candidate will have previous experience of EU legislation and would ideally include: Solvency II; Insurance Distribution Directive; MAD; MiFID II; CRD IV; Payment Services Directive; Electronic Money Directive.

Non-PSL candidates will need to show their aptitude for knowledge development and will have had some experience within their fee-earning role such as delivering client training or producing written knowledge materials.
