JOB TITLE: Commercial/Residential Property Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2 years+ PQE
An exception opportunity has arisen for a driven Commercial/Residential Property Solicitor to join growing regional law firm. This firm has recently experienced a significant period of growth and, therefore, they require an additional Solicitor to assist on a caseload of new instructions. The appointed Commercial/Residential Property Solicitor will also advise on residential property matters, with the split of work expected to be 60% commercial and 40% residential. The Solicitor will join a small team of property experts, who between them are have a range of expertise and experience, and will have the chance to rapidly develop their career within a friendly and supportive environment.
The ideal Commercial/Residential Property Solicitor will have proven experience of a wide range of commercial property matters, including licences, sales and purchases of freeholds and leaseholds, grant and taking of lease. In addition, the Solicitor should have knowledge of residential property matters and have experience of progressing sale and purchase files from the initial stages through to post-completion. No two days are likely to be the same in this role and, therefore, the Solicitor should be ready to use their full range of knowledge of both areas of property law and really hit the ground running from the outset. They must be flexible in their ability to adapt to a diverse workload. It is expected that this role will include a large amount of client contact and, therefore, it is important that the Solicitor can communicate in a friendly and professional way.
